Grace F. Klinger - Town Council

Over the past 40 years Grace Klinger has taken on Community Leadership roles in various places she has called home. Grace and her husband relocated several times due to Corporate transfers and were fortunate to live in many wonderful Communities while raising a Family.

 

Grace has been an active Charlestown resident since 2002. Her involvement includes:  

  • Current Chairperson and 12 year Member of the Charlestown Conservation Commission

  • Active Parishioner at St. Mary's Parish, serving on both the Garden and Hospitality Committees

  • Certified Master Gardener

  • Small Business Owner since 1982

  • Poll Worker in several Communities she has resided

  • Former President of the Federated Garden Clubs of Coral Springs, FL., Brookfield, CT., Westerly,R.I. and current Member of the Gardeners of Westerly

  • Former Water Exercise Instructor for both the YMCA and the University of Rhode Island

  • Former Board Member of the Brookfield, Ct. Historical Society

 

I am running for a position on the Town Council to provide a voice for the Community as a whole. 

 

Through my past Leadership roles on numerous and varied Committees, Commissions and Boards I have demonstrated the ability to listen, observe and base my decisions on fact.

 

If elected, I will serve with an open mind and consider all needs for the betterment of Charlestown.
