Personal
Married 42 years, Mother of 4, Nana to 10, born and raised in Melrose, MA, resided in Washington
State and Upstate NY as well. Charlestown is now my forever town, as I have 3 sons and 5
grandchildren living in Washington County and my children are my most momentous accomplishment and along with the grandchildren, my ultimate joy.

Animal adoption has been my passion, I currently have 3 dogs, one adopted from Afghanistan that
most likely saved the life of 30 soldiers, including my son. Veteran affairs is another passion, I have a Navy dad, Army oldest brother, Marine younger brother, Army youngest son and currently, my oldest granddaughter is serving in the Air Force in Colorado.

Why Planning Commission?
My goal is to continue to serve Charlestown in a way that balances the preservation of our beautiful,
rural town while granting the rights of property owners, (not the government), the ability to control
their own property within the confines of Town Zoning Regulations. Planning Commissions must
abide by State Law, Town Charter and Town Ordinance Regulations, previous Planning Commissions
have a history of taking great liberties with regulations for their own personal agendas and not for the good of all Charlestown property owners.
