Charlestown Holiday Ramble 2022 this Friday and Saturday

The very successful Charlestown Holiday Ramble is back this year and it's grown to include more businesses and locations. This year's Holiday Ramble will be held on Friday December 2nd from 5-9 pm and Saturday December 3rd from 10 am-4 pm mostly on or around the Old Post Road in Charlestown, Rhode Island.

The Ramble is a holiday event showcasing some of Charlestown’s local and small businesses. It's a festive and fun way to get all your shopping done while participating in a ton of holiday festivities.

Many businesses will be open with special events and offerings and some locations will host multiple tables so smaller businesses and individuals can show their wares.

Lots of information is provided on the Charlestown RI Holiday Ramble Facebook page but read on for an essential overview.

A free trolley will be running from Town Hall as part of the Christmas Spectacular Friday night only. The blue trolley will leave town hall shortly after the tree is lit, sometime between 6:00 and 6:30 pm. Space on the trolley is available on a first come, first serve basis so plan on parking your car at the lighting and be ready to get onto the trolley as soon as the tree is lit. This blue trolley will stop at all participating ramble merchants for approximately 15 minutes each. Stay with this trolley to get back to town hall at 9 pm. If you didn’t have enough time to shop during each stop, head back on Saturday to spend more time at your favorite locations.

A second free white trolley will run a continuous loop of Ramble businesses on Friday night only, starting at the General Stanton inn at 5 pm. You can park your car in the General’s Market area and get on the trolley there. You can get off at each stop and get back on it during its next loop. This will give you plenty of time to get your shopping done and not have to worry about the trolley waiting for you. It will be making the loop from 5pm until 9pm where it will return to the General Stanton Inn. If you are on the white trolley, don’t get on the blue one and visa versa.

Of course, you are welcome to take your own transportation to each location. There will be parking at all locations and they are all excited to see you!

Make sure you fill out a raffle ticket at each location you visit. The more places you visit, the more chances you will have at winning some great gifts from local merchants, vendors and crafters.

A map follows and more details are below that. A printable version of the map is here.
