Congressman Langevin endorses several CRU candidates

A message from Congressman Jim Langevin:

I am pleased to announce my endorsement of Deborah Carney, Jodi Frank, and Scott Keeley as Democratic Candidates for the Charlestown Town Council. Each of these candidates offers a unique set of attributes and a staunch commitment to public service that will benefit the people of Charlestown.

Deborah Carney, who currently serves as the Vice President of the Town Council, has shown the passion and dedication it takes to get things done for her town, even if it means ruffling some feathers. I applaud her dedication to ensuring wise government spending and inclusivity remain a priority.

Jodi Frank has been an active member of her community since making Charlestown her home. When she is not busy working on her nursing degree, she is leading a boy scout troop, volunteering at local events or training lifeguards and counselors in First Aid. She has shown us that we can all make a difference if we find a small way to give back.

Scott Keeley is a passionate advocate who wants to bring his experience to the table in hopes of making Charlestown an even more vibrant place to live. He invests in his community, whether that be through his pro-bono work or though supporting art and cultural events. He is a strong supporter of shoreline access and has the experience to push the envelope.

With their different experiences and their commitment to the community, they are the most qualified team to help Charlestown get through this difficult time and ensure every citizen will be heard. Deborah Carney, Jodi Frank and Scott Keeley together, will begin an exciting chapter in Charlestown’s history. Whether you vote on November 3rd, through mail ballot, or early voting, I urge you to vote for these candidates.
