The Arbutus Garden Club’s annual plant sale will be held Saturday, May 20, 2023, rain or shine, from 8 AM to noon at the St. James Parish Center, 2079 Matunuck Schoolhouse Road, Charlestown, Rhode Island.
The sale items include perennials from members gardens, vegetables, annuals and herbs. Raffle items will be offered. New this year will be a soil testing table run by our Master Gardeners; please bring a cup of your soil for analysis.
Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Arbutus Garden Club scholarship fund. The Garden Club awards scholarships to Washington County high school students who plan to further their education by majoring in environmental science, biology, horticulture or landscaping. Please come and support this local scholarship drive and take home some beautiful plants and flowers!
