Help Restore Quonnie Pond's Salt Marsh

We need your help!

Quonochontaug Breachway has been dredged! The sand and sediment has been used to raise the level of the soil in the valuable salt marshes, where rising water levels have threatened the marsh grasses.

Now it's time to start phase two of this project -- salt marsh planting. Save the Bay, Rhode Island CRMC, The Salt Ponds Coalition, and The Town of Charlestown is organizing this effort. Please sign up to help - you can do it here.
