The Charlestown Town Council held their agenda planning meeting on Wednesday, May 8. One item on the draft agenda for the May 13th meeting was consideration of adding electricity to the recently-built pavilion near the playground at Ninigret Park.
Town Councilors Bonnie Van Slyke and Julie Carroccia would not allow that item on the Town Council agenda; to put electricity at the New Pavilion at Ninigret Park. If they won't allow electricity at a Pavilion, then what are they going to allow at the new Community Recreation Senior Center they are proposing? Candles?
