Charleston's new Patricia Sprague Preserve is a beautiful 27 acre piece of open space along the Pawcatuck River off of Carolina Back Road in the northern part of town.
The Charlestown Conservation Commission will be Field Clearing at the Sprague Preserve on Saturday, September 14 and September 21 at 8:30 am on both days. If you are interested in helping clear the field at the Sprague Preserve, please contact Charlestown Conservation Commission Chair Grace Klinger at gfhk71@verizon.net.
The parking area for the Patricia Sprague Preserve is located on Railroad Avenue, off of Rt 112, Carolina Back Road, just north of the railroad tracks. A map can be seen here.
