On Saturday, June 29, Town Council Vice-President, Deb Carney, and I hiked to North Camp to investigate the situation. We saw, first hand, evidence of the work that had been conducted. There was clearing of areas in preparation for additional campsites, stumps of trees that had been removed, and a widening of the access road perhaps using a herbicidal spray. As reported, the "demo" platform tent had been removed, but the holes for the footings had not been filled in.
