Kim Coulter - School Committee

“Reading, Writing and Arithmetic”. We need to do better for our children! They deserve better! I am a lifelong resident of Charlestown, who loves the uniqueness of our community. We are blessed with a beautiful seashore, as well as miles of woods and hiking trails. This uniqueness has drawn people to our town to raise their families in a rural setting to foster more of a sense of community. In wanting better, they also want the best education for their children. I feel that over the past few years, we have dropped the ball in providing the best public education for them. I will do my best to bring back the quality of education that is expected to set our children up for success and not failure! It takes a village to accomplish this. I started my education at Charlestown Elementary School, graduated from Chariho Regional Jr/Sr High School and attended the University of Rhode Island.
