Personal
Married 44 years, mom to 4, nana to 10. I was born and raised in Melrose, MA. have lived in RI since 1981, Charlestown is now my forever town, as my 3 sons and 5 of my grandchildren live in Washington County.
Animal adoption has been my passion for many years, I currently have two 13 year pups, a Yorkie named Jack and a Maltese named Lilli.
Veteran affairs is another passion, I had a Navy dad, my oldest brother passed away while serving in the Army in Germany, my younger brother served as a Marine, my youngest son was 9 years in the Army, serving in Iraq and Afghanistan and currently, my oldest granddaughter is serving as a meteorologist in the Air Force.
Why Planning Commission?
My goal is to continue to serve Charlestown in a way that balances the preservation of our beautiful, rural town while granting the rights of property owners, (not the government), the ability to control their own property within the confines of Town Zoning Regulations. Planning Commissions must abide by State Law, Town Charter and Town Ordinance Regulations.
