In response to new recommendations from the Rhode Island Department of Health, the Cross' Mills Public Library will be CLOSED for the week of March 16-22. This recommendation is part of the precautions being taken in Rhode Island to encourage social distancing and limit or prevent the spread of COVID-19. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates on our date of reopening.
Staff will be in the building periodically during the week to clean and disinfect surfaces, collect and check in items in the book drops, and answer questions by phone and respond to messages.
If you have any questions, you may contact us by calling 401-364-6211 or emailing staff@crossmills.org. We will respond to messages as soon as possible.
Interlibrary loan delivery has been suspended. Items may be returned in the book drops and fines will be waived on our items as needed.
And some reminders:
You can download books and audiobooks online with your library card through Overdrive and Hoopla.
Our public WiFi is always available and may be accessed with your own device from anywhere on the grounds.
For up-to-date information on coronavirus visit the Rhode Island Department of Health.
Wishing you all good health,
