Upcoming May 22 Town Council Meeting

Monday's evening for the Town Council will begin at 6:15 pm with Senior Portfolio presentations by Chariho High School Seniors Liam Currier and Grace VanDale. The Council heard two of these portfolios on May 8 and another two will be presented on Monday.

Following that, the second Town Council meeting for May will start at 7 pm. The agenda and backup materials can be seen here.

The details can be read here.

  • There will be a discussion about potential amendments to the Zoning Ordinance to allow subdivision options regarding Cluster and Conservation Development. The agenda items suggests possibly scheduling a special meeting.

  • The Council will review and discuss a property monitoring report by the Conservation Commission. It is interesting reading and can be seen here.

  • The Council will discuss a Request from the Block Island Sound Bikeway Committee to Investigate Continuation of the Coastal Trail to Ninigret Park from the Matunuck Schoolhouse Road/Old Post Road Intersection. The background information can be seen here.
